Confirm stable feed, normal trigger-state voltage change, and a healthy base MIG weld after repair.

Trigger-state voltages do not split correctly: stay in trigger or control branch.
Arc poor but voltages look normal: stay in torch front-end, wire-quality, wire-size, and clamp branch.
Complaint only appears on marginal power, a long cord, or a weak generator: stay in generator or branch-quality branch.
Complaint disappears on the correct 0.035 in baseline or after a proper 0.030 in conversion: stop before deeper electrical repair.
Wire is 0.023 in or requires DCEP: stop and correct setup before electrical escalation.
Protection light comes on during a short proof weld: stay in source, fan, and front-end drag branch before board blame.

Use these only after the complaint has already been proven to follow the torch front-end or accessory branch.
