Certification Checkoff Template
Use this template to decide whether a trainee is ready to apply the brand workflow on supervised live customer machines.
Purpose
- convert the drill path into a real go or no-go checkpoint
- define the behaviors a trainee must show consistently
- make trainer signoff defensible
Scope
- state which brand and drill pack the checkoff applies to
- state whether the checkoff authorizes supervised work only or independent work
Required Evidence Before Checkoff
- completed drills
- completed answer-key review
- completed score sheet
- trainer observation from tabletop or bench runs
Checkoff Areas
Use a table with:

Automatic Rework Triggers
List behaviors that prevent signoff, such as:
- opening the machine before the external path is proved
- skipping a stop rule
- treating normal input limitation as a hardware fault
- misreading the document order repeatedly
Signoff Decision
State the possible outcomes:
- ready for supervised live-unit work
- ready only after one targeted re-run
- not ready and must restart part of the progression
