This annex is for faults caused by hot plugs, bad adapters, loose connectors, and overheated connection points across welding and plasma equipment.

If the machine behaves worse under load or after warm-up, inspect the connection path before blaming the power electronics.

Symptom matrix

Connection checklist

  1. Inspect plug blades for heat discoloration.
  2. Inspect adapters for looseness, damage, or questionable fit.
  3. Inspect receptacle tension and visible overheating.
  4. Inspect front-panel output connectors, DINSE connections, output studs, and lugs.
  5. Retest on a known-good direct branch without extension or adapter uncertainty.
