Training Progression Template
Use this template to build a brand-level training progression map that turns isolated drills into a staged learning path.
Purpose
- show trainers which drill to run first
- define what a trainee must prove before moving forward
- make the difficulty jump between drills explicit
Structure
1. Brand scope
- state which models and drill set the progression covers
- explain whether the path is beginner-first, mixed-skill, or advanced-only
2. Progression ladder
Use a table with:
| Stage |
Drill |
Why it comes here |
Skills the trainee must demonstrate before advancing |
3. Mastery gates
For each stage, define:
- first proof step the trainee must state before opening other docs
- stop rules they must respect
- minimum document order discipline
- minimum measurement or observation discipline
4. Common failure patterns in training
List the mistakes trainers should expect, such as:
- skipping the external-path proof step
- jumping to internal repair too early
- treating normal low-power behavior as a fault
- ignoring package or process-state differences
5. Recommended training flow
Describe how to run the progression:
- tabletop first
- bench simulation next
- live-unit supervised use last
6. Companion docs
Link to:
- drill pack
- assessment pack
- instructor guide pack
- brand index
- workflow router or other high-value support docs
