The core model guides are already strong enough to support real repair work.
The bigger weakness is around them:
- technician repair references are mixed together with trainer references
- some official manual sections, parts paths, wear limits, and model-specific tutorial topics are not surfaced clearly enough in the guides
- strong official service ecosystems consistently prioritize parts lookup, wear rejection, maintenance checkpoints, and exact service entry points more than the current brand navigation does
What strong official service literature consistently does
1. It makes service entry obvious
Official ecosystems from Miller, Lincoln, Hypertherm, Hobart, and Fronius consistently surface:
- manuals and parts lookup early
- serial, code-number, or exact product identification first
- service and support portals
- setup or troubleshooting videos
Implication for this library:
- brand indexes should put technician repair resources ahead of trainer resources
- guides should name the exact manual section or local file that solves the complaint fastest
2. It turns wear parts into measurable diagnostic branches
Official Hypertherm preventive-maintenance and consumable-care material emphasizes:
- scheduled inspection
- wear-item replacement intervals
- consumable rejection based on condition

Implication for this library:

- Official tutorial topics on the KickingHorse demo page are not yet pushed deeply enough into complaint branches.

MA200TS is being strengthened with official accessory-kit details, generator and breaker expectations, and official tutorial topics from the demo-video page
- callout sections are being tightened around named manual sections and local files to open first
Standard improvements
- the template and quality rubric are being adjusted to favor technician repair entry over trainer workflow when both exist
- the standard is being tightened around named manual sections, parts-path clarity, and official wear or maintenance criteria where available
Highest-value next ideas
- Add repair-first subsections to every future brand index before any training section.
- Add exact official part numbers for the most failure-prone external assemblies when the official parts ecosystem exposes them.
- Add maintenance and wear rejection criteria to plasma and torch-heavy guides whenever the official manual supports it.
- Add complaint-specific official video topics directly into symptom lookup tables.

Bottom line
The library does not need less detail.
It needs clearer repair-first presentation and tighter use of official parts, wear, maintenance, and symptom-specific reference material.
