Use This Guide For

Opening Prompt

• "An MA200TS feeds wire at power-up and the display sometimes looks pinned at maximum. What do you prove before you open it?"

What To Listen For First

• the trainee should say drive pressure, stripped-down plain-steel MIG baseline, and meter response first
• they should recognize that optional kits are noise until base MIG is proven

Redirect Questions

• if they jump inside too early: "What has plain-steel MIG baseline told you yet?"
• if they get distracted by optional kits: "Does the complaint still exist when you remove the package complexity?"

Strong Answer Markers

• they use the measurement card before the opening map
• they keep startup collapse and maxed display in support-power and feedback logic
• they do not let kit complexity override the base process proof

Common Failure Modes

• opening the machine before plain-steel MIG baseline is proven
• treating the display as the whole problem while feed behavior is still active
• letting optional TIG or aluminum kits distort the root complaint

Debrief Notes

• reinforce that mixed symptoms often still belong to one shared support or feedback branch
• internal opening is justified only after feed hardware, process state, and the base machine setup are already bounded
