MA200TS Feed-On-Power-Up Drill
Drill Goal
- teach the trainee to separate feed-path setup, support-power, and feedback complaints
- teach the correct move from measurement card to router to opening map
Starting Scenario
- Model:
MA200TS
- Complaint: wire feeds at power-up and the display sometimes looks stuck at maximum
- Arrival condition: the machine also has optional process kits available in the shop
Expected Document Sequence
- MA200TS measurement card
- MA200TS fault workflow router
- MA200TS board opening map only if the stripped-down baseline still fails
Success Criteria
- the trainee says the first proof step is drive pressure, stripped-down process setup, and meter response
- the trainee does not let optional aluminum or TIG kits distract from plain-steel MIG baseline proof
- the trainee routes startup collapse and maxed display into support-power and feedback logic before blaming the main inverter
Common Misses
- opening the machine before plain-steel MIG baseline is proven
- blaming the display alone while ignoring feed behavior
- letting one optional kit confuse the root complaint
Debrief
- The key lesson is that this machine often presents mixed symptoms that still belong to one shared support or feedback branch.
- Internal opening is justified only after feed hardware, process state, and the base machine setup are already bounded.
