Intake snapshot

Item Record
Serial or shop tag
Exact complaint
Input source used by customer
110 V or 220 V branch tested in shop
VRD mode expectation
Plug, adapter, and receptacle condition
Clamp and holder condition

Likely parts and accessories to stage

Item Why stage it early
Known-good plug or adapter path source-path faults are common on voltage-class complaints
Known-good clamp and holder set eliminates return-path false faults before board work
Meter leads for J3 testing input-sense checks are central on this model
Simple TIG kit if package requires it only after stick proving is complete

Official parts-entry shortcuts

First branch decisions

If you see... Stay in this branch first
J3 sense voltage wrong main-board input-detect branch
Sense voltage correct but display wrong control-board branch
Low OCV only in VRD behavior normal state branch, not output failure
Blink-only display or no stable fan start fan or support branch before control-board blame
Light and fan present but still no usable output output or control branch after state logic is proven

Bench workflow

  1. Confirm actual input class before powering the machine.
  2. Run the J3 and OCV checks from CoolArc200 bench test.
  3. Prove stick baseline on clean steel and separate normal VRD or wake-up behavior from true no-output.
  4. Re-power and confirm the machine does not drift back into wrong voltage recognition.

Release signoff

Check Result
Correct voltage recognition proved pass / fail
VRD or non-VRD behavior understood and normal pass / fail
Stable output baseline restored pass / fail
No heat at plug, adapter, clamp, or holder pass / fail
Covers, grounds, and lead routing restored pass / fail
